As a keen but novice bird watcher I was surprised to note an unusual birs on the roof of the house opposite this morning. Having trawled through my bird book it would appear that it is a Red Backed Shrike and the info tells me there are only 246 individuals on average arrive each year. Am I lucky??

Nice site lads, You must get a good wage from your paper rounds to afford so much cross-country twitching!
Drop us a link on your page please - www.freewebs.com/kingsmill-birding

good site lads - first time I've looked at it. Think I've been bumping into you guys for a while now around the country. I bet old Mick can't wait til one of you boys turns 17, gets a license and takes the pressure off behind the wheel! Rich

A great site with plenty of good articles, this is something my site lacks as I use it more for images . I will keep looking in.
