Situated in a secluded and quiet location in the village of Tala 6km north of Paphos, your lovely air-conditioned, non-smoking two-bedroom house has panoramic views from the upstairs across Paphos to the crystal blue Mediteranean Sea beyond.
Steps lead from the back garden to the large kidney-shaped pool which is sheltered from the wind and has plenty of sun. This lovely south facing pool is for the sole use of the residents and is surrounded by beautiful flowering trees and shrubs which are well established. It is subtly lit at night and a pool shower is available.
The house is positioned within a pretty horse-shoe shaped cul-de-sac full of flowers such as Jasmine, Hibiscus and climbing Borgonvillia. It is a small, private and very select development in a residential area with parking at the front of the house.
The kitchen is well equipped and comes complete with cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, hoover, iron and ironing board. There is a good selection of saucepans, cutlery and crockery etc. The open plan kitchen leads directly to the dining and lounge area and a separate shower room and wc.
The lounge/diner is comfortably furnished with 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, pine dining furniture, coffee and occasional tables. There are two ceiling fans, a TV with full UK television channels and a CD player. Patio doors lead to the private, paved back garden which overlooks the pool and communal gardens. It is furnished with a table and chairs, pergola and outdoor fan.
New Bedroom Suite
Bedroom 1 has been newly fitted to a high standard. The contemporary bedroom suite in chocolate brown hardwood consists: a new comfortable double-bed, two bedside tables with matching lamps, a large 6 draw dresser with mirror above and new rugs. Additionally there are plenty of fitted wardrobes. The room has air-conditioning, ceiling fan, patio doors with fly-screens and shutters. The balcony leading directly from the bedroom has far reaching views over Paphos, the Mediterranean Sea and the pool.
Bedroom 2 provides 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes, drawers, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, fly-screens and shutters
The fully tiled family bathroom finished to a high standard is fitted with a bath and shower, WC and extractor fan. Fitted cupboards allow for plenty of storage space.
Bed linen and towels are provided (except beach towels).
'Siesta Dreams' is set in a small private development where you would be living along-side a number of our quiet and peaceful resident neighbours. Our villa would therefore appeal to those who would enjoy this kind of quiet and relaxing lifestyle.
As can be seen the quiet cul-de-sac provides ample parking and pretty open-plan front gardens to each house.
A couple of bars and restaurants, a new convenience store, a pharmacy and an English Delicatessen are located within 200 metres and the main traditional village square is no more than 600 metres away (see local area page). Here you will find a quaint square with a church, supermarket, bar, new bakery, a smattering of Cypriot tavernas, 2 Cypriot restaurants and a very romantic English bistro/restaurant with breathtaking views overlooking Paphos and the surrounding coastline.
As Cyprus is such an interesting country to explore with its quaint villages, historical sights, countryside and coastline and to get the very best from your holiday, we would recommend the hire of a car. And to make things even easier, in Cyprus you drive on the same side of the road as in the UK and road signs are in English too!
